TARGET AUDIENCE: Healthcare professionals, including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and pharmacists who treat patients with substance use disorders.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES 

Describe medication management of patients transitioning from inpatient settings who require tapering of medications used to treat medetomidine withdrawal.

Identify the clinical factors and considerations in managing medetomidine withdrawal in outpatient settings.
